Role description

As a UI/UX Designer at Dashmote, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and design of our web applications, with the possibility of expanding to mobile applications in the future. You will work closely with our application development team to craft intuitive, user-centered designs that align with our brand and meet the needs of our users. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is flexible enough to handle a variety of design challenges.

Main responsibilities

• Create user-friendly designs for web applications and, in the future, mobile applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to translate requirements into design concepts.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas and workflows effectively.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve user experiences.

• Maintain and expand our design system to ensure consistency across all Dashmote products.

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new products and features.

• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to Dashmote’s products.

Your background

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within a start-up or fast-paced environment.

• Education: A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is a plus.

• Skills

  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles for web applications.

  • Experience with mobile app design is a plus.

  • Familiarity with design systems and style guides.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into development.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
