Dashmote is a start-up focusing on the next generation of data products powered by AI technology, with offices in Amsterdam (HQ) and Shanghai. We connect the offline and online worlds by decoding the digital footprint of locations, enabling our enterprise clients (Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Heineken, etc.) to understand the market and make smarter decisions.

Dashmote has ambitious plans for the upcoming years and therefore we need to make sure that we have the right people in place to put such plans into practice. Dashmote is currently seeking a Business Development Intern. This position is based at our Headquarters in Amsterdam.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identifying, connecting and actively engaging with key targets, influencers, and decision-makers inside an organization
  • Creating opportunity and sales funnels and managing their performance
  • Supporting the sales process by pitching to customers, giving demos, and writing and reviewing proposals by yourself
  • Utilizing modern AI tools to drive new conversations and opportunities
  • Supporting the team with account management-related tasks as well as keeping track of targets and KPIs
  • Conducting research into a client’s background to assist the team with proposals
  • Proactive customer acquisition through active market research such as cold emailing, cold calling, and networking at events and conferences
  • Developing and managing customer relations

Job requirements

Your Background

  • Studying a business-related area
  • Results-oriented with a strong interest in business development
  • Energetic and proactive personality
  • Basic knowledge & interest in our technology (Artificial Intelligence/MarTech) and our target groups (FMCG companies)
  • Not afraid to take initiative and ownership of strategic projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong sales and social skills
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Available to start in Jan 2025 for a 6-month internship
  • Permission to work in the Netherlands
